WEIGHT LOSS AND WEIGHT MAINTENANCE IS….
I hope that this image speaks to you! Also, for those of you who have yet to find working out enjoyable, I hope that this fact is a relief to you. For those of you that love to eat have no fear, I am here to help you learn to still eat great things and still see the results that you want. I personally believe in eating “clean”. What does this mean? First of all, it is NOT a diet, it is a lifestyle. To make it an easy lifestyle eating clean means not having to count calories, fat, sugar, etc. Eating clean IS eating foods in their most natural state. So, not boxed, processed, preserved, chemically enhanced, or even foods that are stripped of their nutrients like white rice or bread (which BTW is also a processed and chemically enhanced food or “enriched” they say!).
Learning to read labels and understand them is a long and arduous task. That is what I am here for. Follow my blog to read the plethora of information I post about clean eating and deciphering food labels. For those of you still adamant at this time to continue to eat the foods of your choice, consider making baby steps of changes. I implore you to check out this post that I wrote that gives an alternative way of approaching eating the foods that you want. Finally, I would like for you to drop the mentality of having to cut certain things, such as carbs and fat, out of your diet. Please read this post to find out why.
I do NOT believe that there is ONE way or ONE diet (way of eating, not “diet” as in “I am on a diet”) that fits everyone. Keeping in mind how your relationships, physical activity, career, and spirituality affects your overall wellness, I work one on one with my clients to make customized meal plans that suit their needs and current fitness activity level. I offer a nutrition and meal planning kit to all of my clients upon sign up.
Lastly, I recommend replacing one meal a day with a Shakeology shake.
