Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
So, we don’t celebrate St. Patty’s day at our house, but the whole “green” part of it had me thinking about “going green” and all the things that Bob and I have in the works for the Zen Den.
Bob came home one day and told me that he wanted to start “homesteading” on a small scale. I LOVE this idea! I have really been wanting to start a garden. In addition to that, he wants chickens and meat rabbits. I am not too keen on the killing of the rabbits, but he can do that part. We have all the stuff to getting some seeds started. I can’t wait to keep you all updated on all of our fresh produce and what the plans are with chickens, eggs, rabbits, etc. Make sure that you subscribe to get the updates.
These small things can really help you save money on eggs, meat, and produce. Not to mention all the extra chemicals you can keep out of your body! I love knowing the how and what behind my food.
That being said, I wanted to give you all some ideas of how you can “go green” in your own home relatively easy and also save yourself some money!
