Ok these sorts of things are always so hard! I actually HATE taking photos of myself, but part of this journey and transformation is stepping out of the box, doing things that I don’t normally do in order to make a change and try to help and/or encourage others in the process.
In all honesty before taking my final measurements and photos I was not happy with the outcome. I naturally thought that nothing happened because I went from doing kickboxing workouts that burned like 500-800 calories, to Slim in 6 that didn’t even burn like half that. The reality of it is that Slim in 6 is a full body workout that uses cardio AND resistance to help you see results. I truly believe that resistance training is what helped. If resistance training is not part of your fitness plan then it needs to be! Now, I am so glad that I did these before and afters because I can see that something happened.
It certainly isn’t one of those huge transformation photos like so many people have and the quality of the photos are not professional given the fact that they are photos on my phone and put together with a free thing online, but hey it’s real, its raw, and its my work! I am happy. Besides, this is just the beginning of my journey and I still have a little ways to go.
The final outcome in numbers (i.e. my before and after measurements) are as follows. Weight dropped 5 pounds, lost 2.5 inches on my waist, half an inch on my hips, half an inch on my chest, and inch on my arms, and and inch off my thighs. I am so happy with that.
